The much-awaited bridal couture exhibition – Runway Bridal – was held on 30th & 31st August 2019 at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi. The wedding show, which was conceptualized years ago by Ramola Bachchan, marked its 7th annual edition last weekend. The exhibition showcased the latest trends in bridal wear, jewellery, accessories and wedding services, with a 75+ designers showcasing their latest collections. The lead red carpet designers were Rohit Bal, Ritu Kumar, Ashima Leena, Rina Dhaka, and Siddartha Tytler. Lead jewellers included Shri Paramani Jewels, Pooj Juneja, Alpana Kapoor, Leela Jewellers and many more.
The exhibition saw a heavy footfall especially due to the approaching wedding season and Runway having all sort of bridal shopping solutions. The show had all for the visitors under one umbrella from invites, footwear and outfits to jewellery, photographers, home decor and wedding cakes. There was no one seen leaving without shopping bags.
Designers like Leena Singh of AL-India and Rina Dhaka were also spotted in person at the exhibition to help their shoppers in making the right choice. Industry’s renowned jewellery designer Vinay Gupta of Shri Paramani Jewels was also spotted on Day 1, spilling the beans on how to make the right choice while buying such precious gems and what will going to trend this wedding season.
I was honoured to see such warm response by the visitors at Festive Collection 2019 at Runway which had finest luxury brands featuring their best of the collection.
