New Delhi, March 13, 2023 – On the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 10, 2023, Indo German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) and Indo French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) jointly celebrated Women in Leadership at Lutyens’ Lawns, Ambassador Hotel, New Delhi.
This year the theme for International Women’s Day is “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality.” It is a call to acknowledge women and girls who are championing the advancement of transformative technology and digital education.
It was an informative and inspiring gathering, highlighting the importance of gender equality, and celebrating the achievements of women in leadership roles.
Speaking on the occasion Ms. Sonia Prashar, Deputy Director General, IGCC said, “We are delighted to partner with the Indo French Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the achievements of women in leadership roles. This event provides a platform to discuss the importance of gender equality in the workplace and recognize the invaluable contribution of women to the economy.”
Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General of IFCCI, added, “We believe that promoting diversity and inclusion is vital for the growth of our economies. Women are an essential part of this equation, and their contributions should be recognized and celebrated.”
