Kriti Kharbanda Dazzled On The Runway In ‘Tahweave’ By Sweta And Priyangsu At LFW W|F 18

Mumbai, August 2018: Kriti Kharbanda dazzled on the runway as she introduced Tahweave’s new collection at Lakme Fashion Week W|F 18. The sustainable fashion driven label by versatile designer duo Sweta Tantia and Priyangsu Maji unveiled their latest collection ‘UNCHARTERED’ on 26th August 2018 in Mumbai.

The collection theme was inspired by mystical rocky terrain of the Irish mountain lands, on a magical night. The tranquility of the landscape was an instant inspiration for artistic expression for the duo.
‘UNCHARTERED’ brought together the colors of Irish landscapes and their vibrant culture; the collection induced a darkly romantic atmosphere that places one, right in the center of nature’s rugged beauty. Over layers to long flowy dress indulged in elegant shades like ash rose, berry, earth red and emerald green and blues with minimal embroidery, the collection dealt with everyday chic and easy women’s wear.
Sweta & Priyanshu, designer duo behind Tahweave express, “With this collection we wanted to pay homage to the natural beauty that surrounds us. The landscapes that people usually ignore, the mountains, were the source of our inspiration for this collection and it reflects nature’s rugged beauty and glory.
Kriti Kharbanda expresses- “It was an amazing experience walking for Sweta and Priyangsu. They are so good in adding different textures and layers to an outfit. A lot of people don’t work with organza these days, it’s a beautiful fabric and I also fell in love with the earthy colors they have used for this collection! Everything was just perfect.
‘Tahweave’ is a sustainable clothing brand that solely believes in reliving the craft mostly all over the world and concentrates on its weaves and minimal embroideries that helps to accentuate the ensemble. We, at Tahweave believe in contributing towards building a lifestyle rather than simply selling a product and providing people with a range of affordable and comfortable organic clothing perfectly suitable for a tropical country like India.
